Kohl's Internship Project #2

For the second design challenge I was tasked to find a white space opportunity within a Kohl's brand of my choice and create a line to address the needs of the consumer that aren't currently being met. After a thorough examination of the current offerings, I identified a gap in the APT. 9 lineup. With the Summer 25 season right around the corner, I decided to bring in a line fully encompassing the idea of loose and cropped fitting clothes with an emphasis on volume and texture. Additionally, I collaborated with out CFT partners in the art department who contributed by creating prints to include for some of the garments in the collection. Towards the end, I worked with our vendor to get a 3D sample of the oversized camp collar shirt and two physical samples of the textured core tee made out of leftover fabric from the textile mill factory.
