Apparel Industry Collaboration

Goals of the project:
- Work with a person in the apparel industry and design a 3-look collection for their brand.
- Produce another group’s design. This includes pattern making, sample construction, fittings, and working with the other group to make changes along the way.

My partner and I were assigned to collaborate with Bethany Imperial Mazon who works as a 3D product creation lead at The North Face. Our goal was to design a 3-look collection for this brand. As you will see in this project, the line was inspired by aspects of the ocean and marine life and incorporates those patterns, shapes, and colors you see in the water.

For the second part of the project I was assigned to partner with another team who created a 3-look collection for Nike. This is where we produced their design. This included pattern making, sample construction, fittings, and working with the other group to make changes along the way.
